Cornish Celtic Way and the Two Cornish Caminos
About the route: Editors note: See bottom for photos. Cornish celtic way: The Cornish Celtic Way is a pilgrimage route stretching 125 miles across Cornwall, from St. German’s to St. Michael’s Mount. It includes more than 60 miles of the Cornish Coastal Path and links two established pilgrimage routes: The Saints’ Way and St. Michael’s Way. While the Cornish Celtic Way is not a camino in itself and is not formally waymarked, it connects with routes that are well waymarked. In addition, it has its own passport scheme, allowing pilgrims to collect stamps at various points along the journey. The purpose of the Cornish Celtic Way is to help people of all ages explore spirituality in a fresh and personal way. It reflects the belief that faith is not limited to places of worship but can also be discovered outdoors, through lived experience, and by taking an active role in one’s own spiritual journey.
